This stage of the home building process is amazingly fast. Just this week, the framers have come and framed out the entire basement and are already well on their way to completing the main floor. The construction team is back to work after the rain. Last week they poured the cement retaining walls of the basement. Now they are completing the process of readying the foundation. It is a somewhat challenging time to be building a home and we did a lot of research in finding the right builder for us. The real estate market uncertainties brought a mixed blessing. We found many builders seeking clients, and yet not all of them were in strong financial positions.
